Dongji provides metal stamping services on eight high-performance presses to 150 tons, plus two CNC punching machines for work that does not justify a die. We run both stamping and laser cutting in this building, so the quotation is not steered toward whichever process we happen to own.

Process selection
Choosing between metal stamping services, CNC punching and laser cutting
All three produce flat and formed blanks. The economics diverge sharply with volume, and picking wrong is one of the more expensive mistakes in this category.
Laser cutting
No tooling cost. Per-piece cost stays roughly flat regardless of quantity. Right for prototypes, low volume, and designs that will change between runs.
CNC punching
Two machines at 20 T, 0.1 mm accuracy, 10 m/min. No dedicated die, and faster than laser across dense hole patterns. The middle path for perforated panels and repeat hole work at low-to-medium volume.
Metal stamping
Tooling is required, but per-piece cost falls sharply once volume spreads that cost across the run. Right for stable designs in repeat production.

A blank is not a finished part
Our metal stamping services sit at stage three of ten within our custom sheet metal fabrication programme. Stamped and punched blanks move on to bending, welding, powder coating and assembly without leaving the facility — which is what makes a single-source quotation meaningful rather than a coordination exercise across four vendors.
Material verification runs on our in-house tensile and hardness testers, so a substituted or off-spec coil is caught before it becomes a thousand out-of-tolerance parts.

What is your maximum press capacity?

Should I choose stamping or laser cutting?
It depends on annual volume and how settled the design is. We run stamping and laser cutting in the same building, so send the drawing and expected quantity and we will quote whichever costs you less.
Do you offer secondary operations?
Yes. Stamped parts are bent, welded, powder coated and assembled in the same facility, across ten documented production stages.
What is your minimum order quantity?
100 pieces. Samples are available at $20–$100 depending on the part.
How do you verify incoming material?
Incoming material inspection covers dimensional checks and material composition, with tensile and hardness testing in our own lab. Inspection coverage is 100%, at a 99.5% first-pass yield.
