Our sheet metal bending services run on twelve CNC press brakes at 100 tons, forming material from 0.2 mm to 22 mm at lengths to 3,200 mm. Angle held to ±0.5°; flange length to ±0.2 mm under 100 mm. The tolerance schedule is published below in full — including where it widens.

Most fabricators publish one tolerance figure. A single figure is either optimistic at long flange lengths or needlessly tight at short ones. Ours is banded, because that is how the physics actually behaves.
Why it widens
Positioning error and material springback both scale with distance from the bend line. A 60 mm flange and a 900 mm flange do not behave the same way on the same machine, with the same tooling, in the same material.
Specifying ±0.2 mm on a 900 mm flange adds cost without adding function. If your design genuinely needs it, say so at quotation and we will discuss tooling and staging options rather than quietly quoting to the standard band.
Springback differs by material
Stainless steel springs back more than mild steel at equal thickness. Aluminium behaves differently again, and temper matters as much as alloy. Our press brake programmes compensate per material — which is why we ask for material specification alongside geometry when quoting, not as an afterthought.

Bend allowance is designed in, not corrected out
Our sheet metal bending services sit at stage four of ten in our custom sheet metal fabrication programme, after laser cutting and CNC punching. Because cutting and forming happen in the same building under the same production plan, blank dimensions are adjusted for bend allowance before the sheet is cut.
Parts do not leave our control between stages. A formed part goes straight to welding, then finishing, then assembly — no transit, no third-party scheduling, no handoff where accountability blurs.

What tolerance can you hold on a bent part?
±0.5° on angle. On flange length: ±0.2 mm up to 100 mm, ±0.3 mm from 100 to 300 mm, and ±0.5 mm from 300 to 1,000 mm. These are finished-part figures, not machine specifications.
What is the longest part you can bend?
3,200 mm, on any of twelve 100-ton CNC press brakes.
What thickness can you form?
0.2 mm to 22.0 mm, in mild steel, stainless, galvanised steel, aluminium and copper.
Can you bend and weld the same part?
Yes. Cutting, punching, bending, welding, finishing and assembly all run in this facility across ten documented stages.

Geometry, material, thickness and finish. With those four, a quote comes back within 24 hours. Without material specified we have to ask, because springback compensation depends on it.
